Get in Touch

This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release a person, retrieve an official booking file, or accept a public-record request. For an official answer, contact the office that created the record.

Official Routes for Records and Status

The right destination depends on the record sought. The St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department is the county contact for detention and booking matters. The City of Bonne Terre and the circuit clerk serve different city-record and court-record functions. Missouri Sunshine Law provisions in §§610.010 through .030, including §§610.023 and 610.026, set the state framework for public-record custodian requests and permitted charges.

Use these routes according to the question:

  • Current county booking or in-custody question: start with the sheriff-linked Mobile Patrol channel, then use the sheriff or jail contact if needed.
  • County booking record: ask the sheriff’s office which custodian or request process applies to the identified record.
  • Bonne Terre police event or city report: use Bonne Terre Police, 118 North Allen Street, Bonne Terre, MO 63628, 573-358-2254, or Cityadmin@bonneterre.net. Ask the city to identify the proper custodian if administration is not intake.
  • Farmington police report: use the Farmington Police Department’s official records route for a city-agency report, rather than treating it as a county-jail confirmation.
  • Pending case, hearing, or disposition: use Case.net or the circuit clerk. A court case is not the same as a current custody record.
  • Sentenced state or supervision status: use the Missouri Department of Corrections offender search, not the county booking channel.
  • Emergency or immediate safety concern: call 911. Do not use this site, a news report, or a wanted-page result for emergency action.

The county guide explains record states and official paths in more detail. A source can show just booked, in custody, released, court activity, or sentenced state supervision, but those labels should not be interchanged.
